The Arrival

The day I’ve been eagerly anticipating has finally arrived! My first shipment of green coffee beans is here, and I couldn’t be more excited to start this next chapter of my coffee roasting journey. After months of research, planning, and experimenting with my roaster, it’s time to take my passion for coffee to the next level. The beans have arrived, and they’re ready for the magic of roasting!!

The moment I opened the bags, I was hit with a wave of anticipation. Inside were green coffee beans, each carefully selected for its unique flavor profile.

The beans, of course, are still green—unroasted and full of potential. They have a fresh, earthy scent with a slight vegetal note. They may not look like much now, but each one holds the promise of a perfect cup of coffee once roasted.

It’s hard to put into words how exciting it is to finally hold these green beans in my hands. There’s something incredibly satisfying about taking raw, unroasted beans and transforming them into a cup of coffee that tells a story—one of the lands, the farmers, the process, and the care taken at each step along the way.

This is just the beginning of what promises to be an exciting adventure. With every roast, I’m learning more about the beans, the roasting process, and myself as a coffee roaster. And I’m eager to share this journey with all of you, as I work to craft the perfect roast, one batch at a time.

If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to roast your own coffee or are just curious about the process, I hope this journey will be as exciting for you as it is for me. Stay tuned for more updates as I dive into my first roasts and explore the fascinating world of coffee from the very beginning—green beans and all!
